"Maybe it's a gift from Li Li's fans," Lan Ning speculated, "Didn't one of your fans send you cupcakes last time?"
Li Li felt it was unlikely, "I'm not Tan Rou, how could I have so many fans? Forget it, I won't guess anymore, let's hurry back and check it out."
The two of them sped up and returned to their dormitory door.
Sure enough, there was a kraft paper tote bag hanging there, looking quite heavy, with the handles of the bag stretched taut. But there wasn't a single word on the bag, nothing was written at the seal either; they had no idea who had left the item there, nor what was inside.
Li Li reached out and took down the bag; it really was quite heavy as her hand dropped slightly, barely holding it steady.
"Could it be filled with stones?" Li Li struggled to lift the bag, "Luckily, this paper bag is sturdy enough, or it might not have held up with something this heavy inside."
