Rainn and Cassius looked at each other for a few seconds. But it feels natural enough for them. A few seconds is enough for them to convey how they feel.
Rainn jumped away. Cassius stood undaunted in his position.
"Who are you?" Rainn asked.
"I am one of them," Cassius replied. "You've caused enough trouble for us. It's about time I put an end to you."
"Really? I think what I'm doing is more than just making trouble," Rainn said. "I thought I ruined everything you guys had planned."
Cassius' jaw tightened. "You're right. That's why I have to kill you now."
"Or I'll kill you," Rainn said.
Lightning flashed from the sky. The light flashed through the bloody night.
Rainn charged toward Cassius with all his might. Cassius charged toward him. He who had been just standing in his position started to move.
Shadowsteeel Sword's black blade swung at an incredible speed. But Cassius was able to keep up with his staff.
