"First of all, how about we introduce ourselves first?" Amia cleared her throat once again to prepare herself.
"Don't we already know each other's names?" chirp Rainn.
Amia looked at him with a furrowed brow. But then realized that they should have known each other after all.
"Okay then, let's get straight to the point. I'll tell you the reason why I created this club." Amia started.
Rainn was actually also curious about this so he will be paying attention to Amia.
"When I was little. I was once saved by a supernatural creature."
This took Rainn by surprise. What Amia said was completely unreasonable. So far he only knows that supernatural creatures are vile creatures that prey on humans. Even the entire history books of the Al'Modred kingdom said so.
"I know you wouldn't believe what I say. But, I can explain," Amia raised her hands low as a gesture for them to be patient.
Rainn turned his head towards Vyra who didn't seem surprised. Vyra who caught his gaze turned to Rainn. She nodded as if telling Rainn to just listen to Amia's explanation.
"I was four years old at the time," Amia continued. "I was angry with my father. That's why I ran away from the house. I kept running and running without a clear destination. I didn't even realize that it was already dark at that time. Then he came. A man caught my little body and took me away."
Rainn continued to listen to Amia's explanation. He didn't really care about what happened to her when she was little. Rainn just wants to know how a supernatural creature can save a human.
Amia's face showed something strange. It was as if a wave were moving to disrupt the calmness on her face.
"Are you okay?" Vyra asked worriedly.
Amia smiled, "I'm fine."
Amia drinking from the bottle beside her and suddenly her face turned a little pale. But Amia still wanted to continue.
"Then before the man could do... Uhh... Do what he wanted, suddenly his body was pulled by something so strong that it hit the wall. I saw it with my own eyes!" Amia looked at the three of them one by one, "That creature killed him and bit the man's neck!"
Rainn's brow furrowed in suspicion.
"Then the creature walked towards me while wiping the blood from its mouth. It looked at me without saying anything. Then I passed out."
Rainn immediately knew that the one who saved Amia was the Vampire. His features were the same as those he had seen in the previous nobleman's murder. Which is a bite wound in the neck.
Does that mean the supernatural creatures have been in the city for that long? And Vampires also actually still exist today?
Rainn was so busy with his own thoughts that he didn't even hear Amia's next words.
"...So I decided to form this club. Not all supernatural creatures are evil." Amia said.
Rainn didn't know why the Vampire didn't kill Amia. But in Rainn's mind, it's very clear that it's not because Vampires are good supernatural creatures.
"Those of you who work as supernatural hunters must see them from a different perspective," said Amia.
"Sorry but," Rainn snapped. "I don't think that what saved you was a kind of supernatural creature."
Amia cast a glance at him, "What do you mean?"
"You were unconscious at the time. A lot could have happened," Rainn replied. He could feel Vyra's gaze piercing him. Rain didn't care.
Amia inhaled and exhaled, "Can you please elaborate?"
"You passed out. Then where did you wake up?"
"I woke up in my house."
"The next morning?"
Amia nodded her head slowly.
"You don't think something happened when you passed out?" Rain asked.
"Hey!" Vyra exclaimed, glaring at Rainn sharply.
Rainn looked at Vyra. She currently looked ready to throw a fist at Rainn's face at any moment.
Rainn hesitated. Will he be able to handle Vyra's rampage with his current strength? But Rainn had other things in mind. He was a fool to make Vyra his enemy now.
"Okay," Rainn raised her hand, choosing to give up. "Go ahead."
Amia was still looking at Rainn with a troubled expression on her face. There are a few kinds of emotions there. Feelings of anger, sadness, and doubt.
Rainn just stared at her blankly. As if he didn't care about her feelings. Rainn also still felt Vyra's sharp gaze.
"Just carry on, Amia," said Vyra.
Amia swallowed her saliva. Then drink from her bottle again before moving on.
The next discussion that Amia talked about was about the many types of supernatural creatures that were divided into several grades.
The third-grade supernatural creature is the weakest group of supernatural creatures. They are almost always in large groups to overcome their weaknesses. They also don't have enough intelligence and just follow their instincts. It's no different than animals.
The Second-grade, supernatural creatures here are a little stronger than the third-grade ones. They are in a small group. Their intelligence level was equivalent to that of a ten-year-old boy. Or maybe even less than that.
The Semi-first grade. In this category, supernatural creatures, become much more powerful than in the previous two grades. The level of comparison of the strength of this grade from the two grades below it is almost doubled. At this grade, the supernatural can already hunt their prey alone and have a level of intelligence equal to that of a human being. The Jorogumo that Rainn fought the other day was a supernatural creature of this grade.
And then, the First grade. In this grade a supernatural creature is very strong, it can even flatten a city. There is a story about a city in the east part of the kingdom of Argenti which was destroyed by the rampage of a first-grade supernatural creature. Its power level is also further than the grades below it. According to Amia's explanation, the ratio of the strength of a first-grade supernatural creature is five times that of a semi-first-grade supernatural creature.
Rainn listened carefully to Amia who explained enthusiastically. He had never known that there was such a thing as a supernatural division by grade before. All he knew was to hunt them down and go home with a small salary.
But Vyra didn't look surprised by the information. As expected, a hunter from a supernatural hunter family who has been in that profession for generations must have been taught such information since childhood.
But Rainn is still curious about what happened to Amia. Is it true that the Vampire who met her when she was a child left nothing behind?
'Can I use a skill to check it?' Rainn wondered. But he knew there was no point in just thinking and guessing.
So, Rainn activates his skill.
[ Skill activated: Ultimate Instinct (Lv.4) ]
Rainn immediately felt a shockwave strike his eyes. Then his head felt like it was going to explode.
"Argh!" Rainn reflexively screamed and held his head. Everyone looked at him in surprise.
Then, as suddenly as its presence, the pain disappeared.
"What's wrong with you?" Amy asked.
"Ah?" Rainn looked at Amia in confusion. "I'm fine. Just carry on."
Although still looking at Rainn in surprise, Amia decided to continue.
But it was different from Vyra who looked at Rainn with wide eyes in surprise.
'He can use that too?!'
