The sound that came out when Lenna's sword hit Cadsava's dome of light was like an iron rod hitting a bell.
The voice sounded over and over again and every time Cad hear it, she flinched subconsciously.
Cracks that appear in that dome continue to expand. The crack was like hundreds of tiny serpents traveling further and further away from the center of the impact of Lenna's sword.
Cad's heartbeat was now very fast. Chill ran down her spine. Cad wanted to scream but her voice won't come out.
She looked at Lenna that now had a fierce face. The Cambion gritted her teeth so that a terrible snarl was created there.
Yet, Cad couldn't do anything but stare at the horror of doom in front of her eyes.
Lenna swung her sword and each swing seemed to pluck a bit from Cad's soul.
'I have to strengthen this protective dome.'
Cad tried to concentrate but there was nothing she could do in front of Lenna who kept hammering her sword.
That confusing voice made things even worse.
