Wang Yue ran back to her room while crying her heart out silently but as Xiao Muchen felt her footsteps fading away from him, he looked back at her side. He stood there without moving at all. He told her what he was supposed to tell her.
But he wasn't able to take her words out of his head and they kept on replaying until he felt a vibration on his phone about the arrival of the new message. He took out his phone from his pants pocket and looked at the screen that showed the message was from Max. The number he was supposed to call.
But then he put his phone back and looked in the direction where Wang Yue went. He could have preferred to tell her everything that was about to happen but he knew if Wang Yue would know the danger for his and his family's life, she would have never gone back or even stayed glued to him until trouble goes away.
