The bangs on the door early in the morning startled Luna who stretched her arms, waking up from her dream; the noise became louder and louder, almost destroying her ears followed by the intimidating voice of the woman she recognized as her mother-in-law, Sandra Li
"Luna….Luna….come out!" Her persistent summon on her name compelled Luna to run; her feet nearly tumbled at the blanket that slid her steps.
"What's happening, Mom?" To discover the urgency of her mother's presence in her room, Luna raised a question at that woman in a neat dark knee-long dress as soon as the unlocked door divulged her figure.
Instead of replying to her, Sandra pinched her nose in reaction to the smell bad of Luna's body who didn't have time to freshen up; her appearance looked pathetic with her unkempt hair and tangled pajama.
"Where did you throw my husband's picture away?"
Luna innocently denied her accusation. "I didn't do anything with that picture, Mom."
