Tomorrow would be her day yet Luna couldn't even close her eyes. She stayed awake on her bed even until midnight came.
Hesitation abruptly took over her mind; was marrying Danish something she really wanted in her life? What if she made the wrong decision? Not only would she risk her life but she would also ruin Danish's future.
However, she couldn't avoid the fact that she would be betrothed to Danish and marry him sooner or later. Grandma Li would do anything to make her dream happen. And her biggest dream was to see Luna and Danish walk in the aisle toward the altar and vow in front of God to love each other and be together forever. Luna bit her lower lips to her thoughts. How could her mind go that far?
Pressing her eyes closed, Luna tried to slumber despite having no urge to sleep. But, over time she dozed off.
The alarm woke Luna up. The time there showed at 6.30; she startled getting out of the bed. Her mother and sisters would come today and she had to prepare to welcome them.
After having a quick shower, getting dressed and putting light make up on her face, Luna sauntered downstairs to have breakfast with the Li Family as usual. The party would be tonight so that she still had much time to prepare everything.
Grandma Li's radiant visage posed a happy smile as if describing what was in her heart. She was the happiest person with the engagement party in the first place. It was no wonder she became so excited with the event.
"Mrs. Xie, please go upstairs and ask Danish to come here. Tell him that we've been waiting for him for breakfast." That maid did Grandma Li's instruction. In the next few minutes she came back with a pale face.
"I am sorry, Madam. But, the young master isn't in his room."
"What?" Grandma Li's eyes bawled out in annoyance. "Where is he at this hour?" Her cheeks blushed, restraining her anger. "You may go back to your work." Grandma Li fell quiet for a while. "That child...I hope he won't inherit his mother's bad demeanor?" Grandma Li kept babbling out while Luna and the others, aunt Jang Mi and uncle Chen didn't have anything to say. "Jang Mi, check your sister, if she really meant it when she said that she wouldn't attend the engagement party."
"Alright, Mom. I'll call her later. Now, please control yourself, Mom, otherwise it will affect your physical health." Grandma Li didn't respond to what aunt Jang Mi said but instead informed Luna that she had instructed the driver to pick her mother and sisters up. Hearing that good news put a smile on Luna's face. She thanked Grandma Li for that.
It had been a few months since the last time she met her mother and sisters. She could not hide the joy reflected in her words and smile.

"Mom…" Luna ran toward her mother to give her a hug as soon as her mother walked across the front yard after the driver dropped her and Luna's sisters. That woman tapped Luna's shoulder softly while embracing her tightly. Luna then let go of her hug and observed her mother from top to toe. "Mom...why do you look skinny? Do you eat well?"
"Of course, dear. I never eat late." A smile that rose on her lips asserted that she took care of herself well.
"But you lost much weight."
"You are just overthinking, honey."
"Hey, don't you want to greet me too, sister?" Luna's youngest sister interrupted their intimate, Luna immediately stepped toward her sister. Her name was Yang Xin Jin, among other sisters, Luna was closest to Xin Jin. Luna and Xin Jin hugged each other for a while before Luna released her hug.
"Where are the others? And your husband? Why doesn't he come with you?"
"Why are you asking the others while there is me here in front of you." Xin Jin's face sulked, of course she wasn't serious with her act. "They have business to take care of so they can't come but they will surely attend your wedding party. My husband had a business trip in Guangzhou. But, our cousin, Yi Xiang, also came with us. But, where is she? She was here just now." Luna, her mother and sister wandered around to find Yi Xiang's whereabouts but they couldn't find that girl anywhere.
"Mom, Xin Jin …. Grandma Li has been waiting inside. The maid will take you to her. I'll look for Yi Xiang before I join you."
Luna looked around to search for Yi Xiang. Recalling that name in her head, that woman's malicious words at her sister's wedding party played again and intimidated her. The hole of foes in her heart she attempted to hoard reopened with her coming. She was worried that Yi Xiang would cause any trouble in the Grandma Li family with her mouth.
Luna's gaze caught the young woman in her early twenties, watching the area around her. Her eyes moved from object to another as though admiring them as masterpieces. Then, the painting grabbed her attention, she motioned toward it. Slowly her hands ran to the object.
"How lucky that ugly girl is to marry the rich man," she murmured but Luna could still get what she babbled out. "I am the one who deserves to sit next to that CEO." she kept chattering out. Luna's mother must have told her that the one Luna was going to marry was a CEO of Li Enterprise.
Giving her time to enjoy each moment alone in that art room, Luna just watched Yi Xiang from afar. She had an intention to know what that girl was going to do with the object she was holding in her hand now. It was a ceramic jar, grandma Li's favourite thing, the most expensive among other objects there.
In a minute, Yi Xiang glanced around in alert and then in a flash she put that jar inside her suitcase. Luna could no longer stay where she was. She had to save grandma Li's things.
"Put that jar back in its place!" she yelled that jerked Yi Xiang in shock, she didn't realize that Luna saw her action.
"What? What are you talking about?"
"You are stealing Grandma Li's jar. Do you think I didn't see what you did?"
"How could you accuse your own cousin? Owh...is it because your life has changed now? You are going to marry the richest person in this country so that you can do whatever you want. Don't be arrogant! Remember you are just an ugly spinster." She confronted Luna. Luna was about to mutter to defend herself. But, another insult from that harsh girl closed Luna's mouth. "I know your husband-to-be must be an ugly person too like you. I bet he is a fat bald old man with a distended stomach. Hahaha…"In a second, her laughter soared in the air. Luna had an urge to cover her ears. Luna's hand clenched in irritation but she withheld it. She had to act elegantly before this uncouth girl.
"Yi Xiang... please return the jar back to its
place. You will be in trouble if grand Li finds it missing."
"As long as you shut your mouth up, no one would discover this object is with me."
"Yi Xiang…."Luna raised her voice.
"What's happening here?" Before Luna could retort more, Danish appeared from the open door. Looking at Danish's sudden appearance, Yi Xiang could not conceal her surprise. Her eyes fixed on Danish as if sizing him up from top to toe. Her incredulous look set in Danish didn't even stir away for quite long until her mouth drooled.
"Who is that superb handsome guy?" Drooling, Yi Xiang asked.
"He is Danish, the one you mocked as a fat bald old man with a distended stomach. He is my husband-to-be."
