"Also boys, no conquers haki! That wouldn't make this any fun if you just took them down that quick and easily!" Rocks said with a big grin while watching this.
Clearly it was just me and Kaidou that were being put through this test, everyone else that I brought were being kept out of this since this was a trial after all.
"We can kill right?" (Kaidou)
"Course! Cause well…. There planning on killin you to take your spots, so try not to die Kay?"
"Hmph!" I pull out Durandal from its sheath and hold it in my right hand with Emperor in my left, "This will be easy…."
"Well then, get them boys!" Rocks shouts out as basically an army of pirates come and attack us.
Kaidou with his huge club began to tear through the crowd on his end where I was cutting and shooting my gun at them as they tried shooting at me.
"Hurry up shorty! Your gonna fall behind!"
"I dont want to hear you talking like that meat head!"
"What was that Runt?! I couldn't hear you from all the way up here!"
"AHHH?!!?!" Now I'm actually getting pissed as I grab one of the guys trying to attack me and using my rather immense strength grab one of the many mob characters and used him as a weapon to beat down his friends before I threw him with plenty force to smash him into the back of Kaidou's meat head.
This made him stumble a bit but with vines popping out from her head he looked at me, "You wanna die kid!"
"Try it you oversized cow!" I say as we forget mostly about the people trying to attack us because most of them even though in the new world don't know how to use Haki, most likely it's more a test of attrition by Rocks than of true skill which he can see how good we are later, but seeing this development just made him smile even more.
"That's it runt! I'm gonna turn you into meat paste!" He says as he does a wind up and turns rapidly towards me with his club to smash at me.
But I can tell he maybe strong, but I'm faster, how can you beat what you can't even hit? So I jump above his attack, unfortunately for the guys near me they weren't so lucky.
I sent a heavy slash towards his head, but on pure instinct he dodged as I cut apart all the guys behind him.
And we did this back and forth dance on each other, crushing and slashing apart those around us as we dodged each other's attacks to the point no one wanted to get involved in this fight so it was just us slamming our weapons into each other.
"Shouldn't we…. Stop them Captain?" Newgate said as he was watching this rather pointless fight.
"Hahaha! No way! This is actually even more interesting to watch than them just killing those nobody's! But don't worry, I won't let them kill each other, they have to much potential to just let them die that soon." Rocks was grinning while watching all this.
"Haaa…. Boys will be boys…." LinLin says just shaking her head as she was watching this as well.
The others were watching or have lost interest and were just drinking for the time being as they wait for this fight to end.
But the thing that Rocks found surprising was that as both mine and Kaidou's blade and mace clashed.
His was covered in Armament Haki.
But mine was not.
Anyone else doing so the blade should shatter but there is a special stat attached to this blade, it is unbreakable, no matter what it is hit with no matter what it will never shatter making it on its own very powerful and on par with the 12 supreme Meito and with Armament haki attached to it beyond them.
"Hey big guy, have you noticed yet?" I say as we are equally holding each other back with our weapons.
"What? That your not as weak as I thought?"
"No, look at my sword, notice anything that it should have but it doesn't?" I say with a grin.
Hearing this Rocks just grins, "Oho, this is gonna be interesting."
*it should have but doesn't? What the hell is he talking abo-* but his thoughts pause as he realizes that his sword isn't covered in armament haki like his is.
"!!!"
"Ahh so you noticed, maybe you'd like it if this little brother here gets serious for you Ahh?" I say about myself as I manifest my staff and slam it into the ground behind me as it begins to release waves of healing energy around us.
"Interesting! Interesting! I'm liking this kid more and more, maybe will have not only a new member but a doctor as well." The Rocks Pirates technically don't need a doc since they go through crew members like a lawnmower over grass, but having a doctor for the main important crew members isn't a bad idea.
"Weird…. I feel good and strong again…." Kaidou was a bit surprised that he felt refreshed like he slept for a full day and was full of energy again.
"That's good, now I can go all out without accidentally killing you." I say as my sword begins to turn black as I begin to push him back.
This ticked him off and tried to put more into his weapon but he was still getting pushed back.
*Im gonna have to steal your lines old friend* I think to myself as I also infuse my conquers haki into my sword.
"!!!!" (Everyone)
"This power…" (Newgate)
"Whoa…." (LinLin)
"Hehehehe… I really hit the jackpot today…." (Rocks)
I then open my eyes and look at him as I begin my chant.
"I am the Bone of my Sword"
all the power goes to a fine point right against the blade.
"So as I Pray"
With a strike of In comprehensible speed his club is hit out of his hand as I have my sword raised.
"Unlimited Blade Works!"
And with one strike that one could perceive he was cut over a thousand times, and without both his extremely strong vitality and my healing staff, he would be lying there dead on the spot.
(A/N Mind you this is 15 year old Kaidou without his devil fruit, so he isn't at his peak yet so yes he can be taken down much easier than he can when he is older and much much stronger.)
Suffering terrible wounds that hurt beyond belief he fell on his knees and only barely kept himself up with one hand on the ground and the other clutching his stomach where some of her organs were beginning to slip out between his fingers.
"Stay down, keep moving and you really will bleed out before I can heal you Kaidou."
"Grrr! Bastard! Guh Khak!" He says before he coughs up blood from his wounds.
I put my sword away before grabbing my staff and mumbling Medea chant activating Pain Breaker to rapidly heal his wounds.
And within a minute or two all the pain was gone and his body was completely healed.
He looked down rather shocked that it didn't even leave any scars on him before he slowly picked himself up and looked down at me.
"What? Wanna go again?" I say as I look him in the eyes as I grab at my hilt as he was gripping his club.
He was clearly still pissed about what just happened, but Rocks jumped down from his podium and stood between us both.
"Alright I think that's enough, you two can fight each other later if you want, but you both have impressed me well enough to be apart of my crew, I can see you two becoming legends later on in life." He said with a grin but was trying to stop us from now by letting out his conquers haki, which is still stronger than mine, if comparing ours to each other, mine is like a freshly made blade, where his has seen battle and combat, both similar but still different from each other.
"Tch! Whatever…" he says as he lugs his club and walks off.
"Hey Kaidou!"
"What?" He says as he looks back at me.
"We can fight whenever you want, but attack me in my sleep and I will kill you, you can bet on it."
"Tch! You got lucky! Next time I'll win!" He says as he keeps walking away.
"Whatever makes you sleep soundly at night." I say as I shake my head before turning to Rocks, "So I guess I'm in?"
"Of course! Welcome to the Rocks Pirates kid, I think will get along just fine." He says giving his iconic smile.
Things are just gonna get more interesting it seems from now on.
