In the tournament, Crystal descends upon the arena, her pupils changing into a plethora of colors for a few seconds, as Andrew heads towards the opposite direction, looking ready to fight. As soon as they take their places and having exchanged no words, the two contestants wait for Hisako to ring the bell.
As soon as she does so, both Crystal and Andrew charge at each other, with the former having a slight smile, but Andrew is obviously here to win, so as to avenge his father against Nami and Kuragari.
The two teens exchange a flurry of punches, but Andrew sees an opening in Crystal, hitting her with an uppercut, as she continues to punch her onto the ground. Immediately afterwards, though, a cluster appears from the ground, hitting Andrew in the face, knocking him away.
