Afterwards, Hercules once again finds himself in the space-time void that separates all the timelines, and he asks Cronus what his next one is, though looking a bit down. Cronus notices his sadness, however, and he's a bit angry.
"Fix your expression, Hercules. The Chronomaster is not one to cry around, especially when he has a mission to complete. One failure may be bad, but it's not the end. Wake up!"
Cronus materializes, slapping Hercules, who's eyes widen, realizing that Cronus is right. This is no time to sit around. After all, Akio is in danger in all of the other timelines, and Hercules must be there to help him.
Having regained his determination, which he had lost while attending the funeral of Akio and Aoi from the shadows, Hercules asks Cronus to go to the next timeline, but Cronus tells him to hold his horses.
"This one will be tricky, Hercules."
"What..?"
"It is the first timeline."
