Joon and his secretary will have to make time for him. There are plenty of employees at Namesis who can maintain the operations without him. Although he was back in Seoul by Wednesday evening, we didn't have the time to meet up. He really seemed busy. I also needed to brief my TA with the 2-week workload that I am going to entrust him. My consultations will be done online after having an appointment.
Lisa and Marcus will arrive 8 in the morning Friday. I would be going to Namdo after lunch to attend to the planning of the April events. Although Jae-woo insisted on asking Joon to do it, I want to do it myself, Marcus should be familiarizing to the people and place before introducing him to unfamiliar people.
The wedding will be on Saturday afternoon at Ritz Castle Resort in Taean, 2-hour drive from Seoul. It's Roo-ni and Han-nah's hometown. Soo-ah and her parents will be in the hotel by Friday. Marcus and I will be going with Jae-woo, Saturday morning. Lisa decided to go with Chris. I know she's just giving us privacy.
"Mama, am I going to see Ji-hoon?" Marcus first order of business is to meet with Professor Kim's son. Fortunately, they are also coming to the wedding.
"You'll need to rest first my love; we'll be seeing them tomorrow at noona Soo-ah's wedding."
"Ara, I think I will just check-in at Four Season's until tomorrow," Lisa informed.
"Hey, you can stay at the loft, I already prepared the study to be your room, besides it's only for one night. Marcus will be sleeping with me in the loft room…"
"Mama, I don't want to sleep beside you…I'm not a baby anymore…" Marcus protested. He really is a grown up now.
"I know sweety. But I miss you…anyway, if you don't want to sleep beside me, there is a sofa bed in there."
We arrived at the loft almost 11, in time for lunch. Lisa and Marcus change to more comfortable clothes and we headed out for lunch.
"Marcus, sweety, you know we're going to have dinner with someone later tonight, right?" I warmed up the conversation. Lisa is just observing. We are now talking in Danish. Although Lisa is always in Copenhagen, she still didn't learn the language.
"I know. You told me already, Mama…"
"Would you love to go to a sushi restaurant?" I know he loves sushi. He loves fish, it's his favorite food, he always claims.
"You know I love sushi mama." He commented. I can't believe my son is becoming so mature about things.
"Mama is going to work after, I will drop you and tita Lisa home so you can have some rest before we go to dinner ok?"
"Ok."
"Lis, you have dinner plans, right?"
"I cancelled on Chris tomorrow, I am taking the bus later to Taean…I want to have a nice rest for tomorrow and it's better if I will be tired now and have a long night sleep. Rather than stress myself out tomorrow..."
"Really? Are you sure?"
"Yes. Don't worry."
It might just be an excuse for her to give us some privacy but it is however, still a nice gesture. She knows me well.
