"Makers above, what just happened?" Ricci stepped forward and held Iris's arm, giving her lady a head to toe scan to make sure Iris wasn't harmed. When the room was suddenly filled with light, she was afraid that something might have happened to Iris under her watch.
"I-I'm sorry, Master Vesarion. I didn't mean to break it." Iris didn't answer her bodyguard and looked at the guildmaster with a tense gaze.
However, the old man didn't seem like he had heard her apology as his attention was zeroed on the broken obsidian orb in front of them. He had an unreadable expression on his face while Cana stared at the remains of the orb she just brought to them.
"Did I do something wrong? Did I place too much magic on it?" Iris asked again. She stepped back in fear. She didn't mean to break anything.
