Callum Aelfgar paced back and forth, waiting for his liege in his study to discuss whether they should pursue and kill the demons and monsters trying to invade Burheim Plains that was part of Aisgarth. However, he'd been waiting for an hour now for Lord Kieran, but the demon lord had yet to appear. Ever since Iris Scarborough arrived, his liege was obviously distracted and Cal was already annoyed by it.
He couldn't understand why his liege was doing nothing to break the bond between him and his mortal mate. However, when Cal heard from Lord Kieran of Iris Scarborough's intention to find a way to break their mating bond, he was somewhat relieved that the human didn't want to have anything to do with his liege.
