"Where's your mother?" Killian asked Ryn. He hadn't completely forgotten about Iris'ss disappearance.
"She went after Ren Scarborough and his companion. We were enjoying a deep in the lake when we sensed their arrival. Mother…" Ryn paused for a moment and corrected herself, "Iris was greatly disturbed when she saw her brother. It seemed he had no recollection of her and seemed to be under some kind of spell. I tried to stop her, but she was determined to follow them into the forest," She explained with a furrowed brow.
"He is indeed under a spell. It was Iris who asked me to put him under the spell for him to forget the death of their mother and sister in Calaren Town. It seemed that my foolish brother has sent Ren to track his sister down without telling the truth to him." Killian replied as he sheath his sword and glanced towards the dense forest where Iris had disappeared. "We must find her before it's too late," he added.
