It was Iris's first time visiting a temple run by humans, much less by humans who weren't afraid of darklings like her. It both surprised and intrigued her. She did not doubt that the humans would have run away in fear if she or other darklings appeared in the mortal realms. But here, they seemed to accept each other and coexist peacefully. Or so she thought.
This nagging feeling was at the back of her mind that something was off in Azalea Town. She couldn't shake the feeling that danger lurked beneath the surface, waiting to reveal itself.
She continued to look at the other statues of the gods but found herself drawn to the God of the Underworld alone. She couldn't explain it, but there was an inexplicable connection between her and the statue.
