Killian walked to the familiar hallway leading to the queen's quarters. As he approached the door, he noticed no usual guards or Iris' ladies-in-waiting were stationed outside. They were about to depart to find the ancient seer who could give them an answer on how to stop the divine punishment from ruining Iris' spirit and causing her to lose her mind.
She knocked on her door, but no one answered. The Night King frowned. He could sense Iris inside her quarters, and it didn't seem she was ready to depart for their journey. He decided to try the door handle, surprised to find it unlocked.
As he cautiously entered, Killian found the black wyvern deep as sleep on the couch, with Iris nowhere to be seen. He was about to leave when the door of the bathing chamber suddenly opened, and Iris stepped inside her quarters and saw him.
"Do you really have to fetch me like some kind of kid?" Iris asked, her voice filled with annoyance.
