Chrysanthe accompanied Iris to one of the quarters used by the royal family of Dravial when Asra knocked on the door and entered. Iris was lying on the bed with her eyes closed, but she was still aware of her surroundings. She wouldn't be lying there if Chrysanthe hadn't insisted on her taking a bath and resting, as Iris had been feeling exhausted from the long journey. The pain in Iris's chest disappeared as soon as it hit her, but her best friend couldn't help but worry about her.
Iris opened her eyes and rolled on her side, asking Asra, "What is it?"
The execution of the entire royal family and the heads of the noble families should have ended by now. Asra hesitated for a moment before replying, "Someone is looking for you, Iris. He claimed he was Amelia's brother. He said he wanted to have a word with you about her. Should I let him in?"
Iris immediately sat up while Chrysanthe was alarmed.
