The sun was about to rise, but Killian hadn't slept for weeks, waiting for Iris to wake up. He could feel his tiredness catching up to him. He waved his hand, and the table he shared with Iris was left spotlessly clean. He made his way to his bedchamber while holding a bottle of liquor in one hand.
"You haven't told me why you suddenly summoned me, my king," Sera complained as she followed him. Their steps were so light, knowing Iris had succumbed to sleep again.
