"W-what?" Iris asked confusedly.
Was this another attempt by Killian to trick her? What was he trying to imply now?
"What do you mean?" She narrowed her eyes suspiciously on him. "Are you saying that I should do more despicable things?"
"I'm saying that power is not the only thing the Dark Abyss could give you, my Queen. You can also learn how to use the forbidden arts. Don't you wish to return to the past and rectify the mistakes along the way? Save your family from their tragic end?"
Iris didn't think that it was possible, but the way Killian confidently smiled at her made her hesitate to dismiss his suggestion.
"N-No…" She looked away, because Iris didn't trust herself at that moment. Killian's words sounded so tempting. Was there really a way for her to return things to what they used to be?
