Iris had no idea about the danger they were facing as she remained unconscious throughout the ordeal. They were lucky that the faerie queen had retreated, but this only meant that they needed to change the course of their travel. If Queen Asheera was able to find them this easily, it was a matter of time before another demon lord would find them too.
Cal had been surprised when he found Liliana and Chrysanthe running away from their camp, but he didn't question them and immediately set a barrier that would turn them invisible to other darklings that may follow them.
"What happened?" Cal asked Liliana once they were certain that they weren't being followed.
"Queen Asheera found us." She said, taking a glance at Chrysanthe who was busy tending to Iris. "She wanted to take Lady Iris away, but Ricci and Amelia bought us some time to escape."
