Iris wasn't sure how long she'd been asleep when she woke up. Killian didn't show up this time, instead, she was greeted by two maids dressed in black dresses and white aprons. One had short black hair, barely reaching her shoulders, while the other one had her hair tied behind her head in a neat bun.
The two dipped their heads and gave her a polite curtsy. Their faces expressionless, not giving Iris any clue of what they think of her.
"Welcome to Helheim, Queen Iris. I am Reannon and this is my sister Janessa. You may call me Rea." The one with a bun said.
"Nessa, Your Majesty." The short haired demoness said.
"Please. Just call me Iris." Iris frowned. "I'm no queen."
The two maids gave each other a confused look, but none of them uttered a word.
Iris grimaced. Why was everyone in Asnar throwing her titles that had no meaning to her? She was beginning to think that these darklings cared nothing about her opinion at all.
