"I had something to do." He briefly said and for the first time, Yun Meiyi read the hesitation in his gaze. She didn't know if she had read it correctly or had she just illusioned it. But whatever it was, he clearly didn't want to explain.
And she didn't want to probe and make it difficult for him. She didn't know why she had to be so understanding when she wanted to know it so bad. But she was like that.
