There was darkness everywhere, but for some reason Yun Meiyi wasn't uncomfortable. Instead, there was deep serenity that was calming her nerves inside. She has never been this comfortable with darkness ever. Just the thought of being in a closed space where she couldn't feel the light was enough to scare her.
Then today what exactly was different? As the question crossed her thought, Yun Meiyi's brows jutted, stressing herself to find its answer.
Suddenly a deep voice resounded from her memories and her brows jutted.
"Darkness is my abode. You will be safe there."
That voice gave her the chills down her spine but at the same time made her realize that even that voice spoke of dark power, it didn't scare her. Rather it made her feel safe under its influence.
Just when she would have denied the fact that she understood after the deep contemplation, a voice from the corner took her out of the trance.
"Madam, are you alright?"
