He is now eager to determine Hannah's location and has lost patience with Tiffany Lynch.
Tiffany, of course, was reluctant to be left alone. Who knows what monsters might pop out here.
With no other choice, Tiffany clenched her teeth and kept up with Louis.
On the other hand, Hannah was still fumbling through the darkness for clues.
She felt particularly at ease in the dark.
She even found time to ask, "Hayes Edwards, didn't you say you were brave when you came in?"
Hayes muttered, "I am brave, but that doesn't mean I'm not afraid of the dark."
That was a statement no one could refute.
