Hannah looked at him steadily for a while, saw the cautiousness in those pitch-black eyes, and could not help but laugh, "Lying."
The past was Louis Snyder's Achilles' heel; he would never casually mention it to others.
Although the young man seemed easygoing and approachable, he valued his self-esteem above all else. He hated being looked down upon the most and would never voluntarily share the most embarrassing part of his history with anybody else.
Not to mention the Yarn Family he had always despised.
"Sister has seen through me, huh." His poor lie exposed, Louis Snyder did not show any panic on his face, but simply lowered his gaze, smiling, "I just… hope my sister would pay more attention to me."
