"He took back what he had given, and instead of finding him, you come to me; don't you find it ridiculous?"
Unable to accept it, Tiffany Lynch cursed, "Nonsense! It's clearly you!"
Seeing Tiffany's loss of composure, Hannah looked away with a laugh, "You love to oppose me, whether it was the matter of exchanging tickets before or this time. You seek a sense of superiority from me, but that superiority comes from my love for George River. Yet I stopped loving him long ago, and all that you have done has been in vain."
In the original story, Tiffany herself was a somewhat extreme character. She was well aware that George did not love Hannah Winter but still refused to let her go, wanting to see her die before her eyes to feel comfortable.
The only thing she could rely on from start to finish were the men by her side; as they admired her, they were willing to present all the best things in the world to her.
