Once everyone had arrived, Teresa Gordon went straight to today's topic, "I assume you've all seen the online discussions. Tiffany Lynch, Ginny, Heather Harrison, the fact that you three have rigged the voting is now fully public. The internet is loudly calling for your withdrawal from the group, and I'd like to hear what you guys think about this."
Having this matter discussed online was one thing, but publicly announcing it in front of all the team members was another.
Once the vote-rigging incident was disclosed, the other group members' attitudes towards them had changed, and even conversations with them had decreased.
Ginny and Heather couldn't help but tear up again. Only Tiffany seemed indifferent, her gaze focused on Hannah sitting across the room.
Hannah, propping up her head with one hand and fiddling with a pen in the other, noticed Tiffany's gaze and gave her a smile.
It was devoid of malice, utterly innocent.
She silently mouthed two words, "Keep going."
