Jack Stewart was arranging Hannah Winter's schedule for the upcoming week on his tablet when he heard her, not even lifting his head, "If you're tired, just go to sleep."
The car grew quiet except for the soothing music.
Highly hypnotic.
But in the end, it couldn't conquer the sound of the wind and rain outside.
Hannah thought this must be a torrential downpour.
Even the newly planted saplings by the road were uprooted.
After a long silence, Jack looked up again.
Hannah had already closed her eyes and was sleeping soundly, unaware of when her clothes had slipped off.
Jack sighed, leaned over to cover Hannah with her clothes again, and gently placed her head on the back of the seat, muttering to himself, "Working three jobs, one should get double the salary."
He spoke very softly.
Bowing his head to see Hannah's peaceful sleeping face, he sighed again.
He had almost forgotten what Hannah was like when she was initially "crazy in love" over these two years.
