~Azaria~
As the sun timidly stretched its fingers through the curtains, I stirred, feeling the warmth of Alaric's body pressed against mine. His steady breath tickled my neck, sending a shiver down my spine. With a contented sigh, I snuggled closer, relishing the comfort of his presence.
"Good morning, Azaria," Alaric murmured, his voice husky with sleep.
"Morning," I whispered back, my heart fluttering at the sound of his voice. I turned to face him, greeted by the sight of his bed head and sleepy smile. It was moments like these that I cherished the most. Alaric reached out to brush a stray lock of hair from my face, his touch sending sparks dancing across my skin. "Did you sleep well?" he asked, his eyes searching mine with a depth that made my breath catch in my throat.
"Like a dream," I replied, unable to tear my gaze away from his. "Being with you always feels like coming home."
