As the meeting continued, Samuel cleared his throat, drawing everyone's attention. There was a weight in his eyes, a decision he had clearly been considering for some time.
"There's something else we need to discuss," Samuel began, his voice steady but serious. "Given the current situation and the specific targeting of Azaria by the Coalition, I believe it's time for a change in leadership."
Murmurs of surprise filled the room, and I felt a jolt of shock. Alaric's grip on my hand tightened, his eyes fixed on his father.
"Alphas and Lunas draw strength from their pack members," Samuel continued. "With Azaria being the primary target, she and Alaric will need the direct support and strength of the pack to face this threat. Diana and I will remain as support, but I believe Alaric and Azaria should take over leadership of the pack."
