The messenger from the commandos arrived at the palace of Cartier castle. The messenger gets off from his horse and hands a small piece of paper to the knight that was guarding the door of the Keep of Cartier Castle.
"Give this to the high command. This message came from the Commandos. This message is important, so make sure it reaches the high command. I want you to get the Baron's answer as soon as possible."
The messenger said with a straight tone of voice. Then the knight salutes the messenger and turns around hurriedly, opening the door and entering. The knight guard reached the office where the high command was in.
He knocked 3 times before he could hear a voice that was letting him in. When the door opened, he saw all the important figures, from captains to commanders. And especially the leader of them, all Baron Roswald.
"My Lord, a messenger that came from the Commandos has given me this message. He said that this is important and the lord shall give his command after receiving this information."
The knight hands the piece of paper to the Baron. And the baron opens it. After opening the piece of paper, he reads the two choices that the commandos are planning. After reading the piece of paper, he put it down on top of the table while the commanders were looking at the map.
"Gentlemen, the commandos have found a strategy to delay the enemy movements to the castle. But they have given us two options. These options came from the commando captain that I have assigned. The first one is to make a storage tent explode in smithereens. And the other one is to create chaos with a fire burning tent. In that chaos, they will strike the enemy commander and kill him."
Then a commander comments. While looking at the Baron.
"My lord, we cannot explode the storage tent that they have. Or else they will cause pillaging the nearby villages like what they did when they found out the place where you are supposed to hide your family. But I believe it was a coincidence. As they only want to spread refugees across so we cannot recruit or increase our force."
The Baron looks worried because he, too, has thought of that. But also needs to take into consideration that he wanted to delay or disrupt the enemy forces. And continue to fight in a guerilla war.
"Commanders, any ideas on where we can put a mountain base camp for our rebellion against the empire?"
He crossed his arms while looking at his commanders, that were all stunned. But even they were stunned to hear that their Baron wanted to raise a minor rebellion in the east region of the empire.
Then commander Reynold of the 7th company said with a straight tone of voice.
"My Lord, I believe we can put it here in the Urian mountains. The mountain is far wide and stretched till the border of the nations of Sunspark Kingdom, which is the Demi humans. and then the Luben Republic, where we can get a few investors for our rebellion. These mountains are also previously got inhabited by rebel Demi Humans. But because of the new regime in the Demi human territories. The rebellion diminished and lost its mission."
Then another commander, Trevor of Baron's 1st Horse guards, countering what the commander Reynold said.
"My Lord, that will be too risky for our forces and for our supplies. Why not build an underground base? Create a fake cave that has many traps and then we dig down low. The surrounding forest shall make it as cover. And the dirt that we have dug up will be used for certain purposes for an outpost outside of our fake cave."
Then the Baron said with an authoritative tone of voice. And looking at the knight that hands him the piece of paper that came from the commandos.
"Tell the commando captain he shall put the burning and chaos strategy in place tonight. And then Commander Trevor of my 1st horse guards. Shall find me a suitable cave that we can make as a new base after we strategically retreat our forces slowly. While the commandos keep the enemy army at bay while we move our forces to the cave."
Commander Trevor puts his clenched fist to his chest and walks out. Same with the messenger that delivered the piece of paper.

2 hours have passed, and the messenger arrived at the camp of the commandos. The commando captain once again called for a meeting as every combined squad leader of each strike force was in front of him.
"The lord has issued us the mission, and that is we use the fire strategy. The strike force of AB and CD will strike from west and south. Infiltrating the enemy camp from the outside. Creating fire will not be easy. But if we succeed in these the EF and GH strike force with the help of the rest of AB and CD, we can create enough chaos to kill the enemy Duke Warlord."
The squad leaders were all looking at the commando captain. Then they all stand up to their feet and salute their commando captain. After that, they all reply with their deep voices.
"Thank you, Sir."
One after the other, they walk out from the meeting tent. Their commando captain looks at his pistol and his saber on top of the table. He grabs it and walks out of the tent. When he did, he saw all the strike force had already moved out of the camp.
40 minutes passed and all commando strike forces were in their positions. The squad leader of AB sees that there are guards that were patrolling along the perimeter. He raised his hand and signaled the assistant squad leader to kill those guards.
"We are going silent once we take those two out."
The assistant squad leader pulls out his sharp dagger from his waist. And sneakily creep behind one guard. And with a blink of an eye, he slits the throat of the guard while putting a cloth inside of their mouth.
The same thing happened to the guard that was beside the first guard that was taken down. After that, the assistant squad leader raised his hand.
"Alright you two, Powel and Sharpe, get into those uniforms and light the first tents at the back, then followed by another tent at the middle. By now, the west side strike force has already taken down their guards, so we need to move."
The squad leader of AB said while he gripped his dagger while his other hand was holding a pistol. From his orders, Powel and Sharpe quickly put on the dead soldiers' uniform so they can sneak inside of the enemy camp that is right in front of them.
"Be cool Powel, don't mind those eyes that are looking straight at us. Be comfortable and make them believe we are part of them. And we will start the fire at the commissioned officer's tent."
He whispers to Powel because he feels Powel is nervous about what they are doing. Because this was their first time into the mouth of the enemy.
They walk out of the forest and enter back to the camp. While they enter the camp, they see that all the soldiers inside of the camp are divided in multiple parts. The outer parts are for low-ranking soldiers.
"There are still many tents which means they still have the force to push us through, no? even though we have cut their supplies and created a lot of chaos. I don't believe it, it seems they have grown stronger."
Powel commented while looking at Sharpe that was walking beside him.
They composed the middle part of the camp of the commissioned officer and like an onion, the deeper the camp, the straight to the Duke Warlords tent.
