Liam did not look back as he wanted to get it all out of his mind but the queen's wailing followed him out. It was a call to announce the king's death and that sound will go through to every part of the kingdom to tell everyone that the king was dead.
The prince had heard of the king's death like every other person in the Kingdom. There was no way they could remain asleep under the spell after the queen wailed.
The prince rushed over most likely to get the ring from the king to be the next king but when he arrived and he met Liam at the door, he froze along with all his guards.
"Your battle is over and lost, if you want to live, we could give you the chance to run for your life," the wizard warned the prince seriously.
