The ride was smooth and fast and soon they could see the tall walls of the palace head Liam wondered why all the guards were missing unlike the usual but when he glanced at the wizard, he could guess that they were all asleep like the ladies he left at the manor.
They did not go through the palace gates as he expected. Rather, they went through a passage he had never heard about and they went straight to the king's palace within the palace walls and were let in. Liam could not understand what was happening. The king's guards did not even try to stop him from going when they should all be weary of him considering what he looked like.
When they got to the king's room that he had never entered even as the prince throughout all the time he lived in the palace. He had never had anything to do going into the king's room and he was surprised to be invited in like he was entering a restaurant with a reservation.
