Liam could feel the anger he felt towards what the prince had to suffer so much that he could not defer if it was his anger or the prince's he felt.
However, that was something too difficult to defer since they had merged and he was now the prince as much as he was himself as Liam. There was almost no difference between them and this was the weirdest time for him to come to terms with that.
He was fighting for his life and yet this was showing him how much he was no longer himself. The wizard was a good swordsman and he least expected that as the man was the only person standing on the field after a while.
He was relentless and Liam knew enough to avoid the man's attack. His sword was poisoned and that told him enough as the man's sword could also be poisoned with an even more deadly poison he did not want the stress of finding a cure for.
He swallowed and fought off another blow from that sword by using his sword to stop the attack.
