Chapter 9 - The brown-eyed lady

********

The second night was spent in a bigger town than the first. The town was beautiful. They were crossing through a desert which was a huge difference from the town they had left which had a lot of trees shades.

It only got hotter and it was an unbelievable transition. It was so close yet so different.

"I hate the sand. Will the horses survive?" he was forced to ask the knight despite the quietness he chose to maintain.

"They will survive it," the knight replied looking at the prince as though he had lost his mind.

He did geography and he understood enough about climate. This was the weirdest phenomenon in the world. Wait, this was not the world he grew up in. no one it was very weird.

They stopped on the outskirt of the town as they were traveling by the town. The villa was nice and neat. It reminded him of a nice Arabian house.

He was impressed by the art. The house was brightly lit by lamps that were just the same as an electric lamp.

He got a nice bath with two women attending to his needs. He closed his eyes as they massaged him. The temperature was so perfect for the hot temperature of the place and he was having fun relieving all the stress of riding a horse under their soft palms.

One of the women caught his attention. She was his type. That slim waist, broad hip, and full chest were what he liked his women to have.

"Self-control," he whispered under his breath as that woman reached towards his shoulder so a soft yet firm press.

He met her brown eyes and smiled. She leaned forward with her exposed chest he had been trying to ignore getting more exposed.

"Do you want me to come over later?" she asked me in a low whisper he found very enticing.

Even her voice was perfect. He swallowed. He would never have missed such an opportunity on earth but . . . she could be another crazy scientist for all he cared.

"No, you do not need to," he told her with his voice so thick you could easily how much self-control he was using to caution himself.

"Really?" she asked him in that same whisper as she pulled away slightly, only so slightly.

"You could come," he whispered so low that she could only see his lips moving but could not hear what he was saying.

She smiled triumphantly and blushed when she realized that she might have overreacted. He found that to be very cute from a woman as bold as she was.

You could say he was warming up for what she would offer him later. He stood up and walked out of the bathtub. He was wrapped in a towel. He had dinner that had a lot of meat he enjoyed after eating the crazy bread and jerky he ate for lunch.

The room was somehow kept warm despite how hot it was outside. He lay on his bed and waited for the arrival of his brown-eyed beauty.

A knock finally came and he stood up and opened the door himself. He pulled her in and closed the door. He had to only look into her eyes that seemed to be pulling in his soul.

He could swear that she was using magic against him. He pressed her against the wall and leaned down to kiss her. There was nothing much to remove from his body as he was only wearing a pair of baggy shorts.

He had to also remove the gown she wore. He began losing her belt after a heated kiss. blame him for being promiscuous but he was drawn to the woman.

"Your highness," she moaned so softly but he did not miss the warning in her voice.

He pulled away believing she did not want to. He would never force a woman but she pulled him closer and that was when he felt a sharp coldness against his toned abdominal muscled.

He smiled. She was here to kill him. That made his eyes flash with a deadly intent that he did not take note of. "You don't have to do that," he told her as he looked at the knife she held against his stomach and the hand, she placed on his shoulder.

"Why not? I was asked to kill you," she told him firmly as she pressed the knife slowly through his skin.

He looked down the blood now rolling to the lower part of his stomach. It went past his navel and down to his shorts. The fabric of the brown shorts abdomen the blood.

He looked at her and shook his head. She looked too so beautiful and it has always been his motto never to hurt a woman. He believed it was a weakness of a man to do so.

He never repaid the thousands of angry and playful hits his sisters had given him because he could not bring his hand to hit them the moment, he looks at their feminine faces.

"I do not want to hurt you but I will not let you hurt me," he told her with his hands up. "Before we begin, could you tell me why you want to hurt me?"

"A prince without magic can never become king," she replied him firmly.

"A why is that? I was born into the royal family and I was born to be the king."

That did not ease the tension as she pressed the knife further. "You are making a mistake, you could stop now and be saved. If you kill me, my men will know who came in they will kill you too."

She laughed softly and met his gaze before shaking her head pitifully. "You do not believe that, don't you? They are not even guarding the door."

Now, tell him how to escape a knife that had already pierced through his skin. There must be no way of escape for him.

She pressed the knife through and he winced. Winced, that should not be right. He should have felt more pain than that. There was a knife buried in his stomach for goodness' sake.

She also looked shocked as she pulled out the knife and aimed it at his neck. He easily dodged it despite the open wound in his abdomen.

He caught her fragile-looking hand holding the knife and turned it to face her abdomen with her back pressed against the wall.
