"We can't go through this street with your horse, how about we find an inn first then I could leave to gamble. When I return, we will have enough to pay for the room and you will have to give me a share of it," she suggested seriously.
"Why will I give you a share of it?" he asked her the same way she spoke to him.
"Because I will earn the money for us and I deserve something for all the hard work. You are so ungrateful even for a prince," she replied with a deep frown.
"And what gives you the right to judge me that way?" he asked her as he was sincerely curious about what gave her the audacity to speak that way to him.
"The fact that you are no longer a prince and you are even poorer than a peasant?" she asked him enjoying the opportunity to she got to speak her mind to the prince. Not everyone in the kingdom will ever be so lucky to speak to the prince that way and still have life left in their physical being.
