Chapter 3 - A Father and A Teacher

The Goibniu Familia or also known as Three Hammer Forge is a smith-type Familia, but they also handle construction requests.

Even though they're not as large as the Hephaestus Familia, their skills are around the same level.

Goibniu as its god appears as an old man with long straight white hair and a silver beard.

He is very short but has a strong and healthy build.

It's already close to midnight, but he is still working in a large smithy that his Familia own, but he is not alone.

Goibniu glanced at the young man who once lost his way, addicted to the poisonous wine of a bastard god.

A child he accepted at an early age, seeking to learn from himself a god of forge. He knows that the kid is not a smith at heart, but he accepted him anyway when he saw his determination to learn.

He called him teacher, following his every teaching close to perfection or if not correcting it to perfection.

He remembered how the kid stayed the whole day and night just to perfect a short sword he asked for as a test.

He knows the kid is smart, and as his teacher, he did all of that just to test his determination.

But no, he was mistaken, the kid stayed all night hammering a piece of metal, giving it a shape, life, and purpose, just because he's aiming for what is perfect, and what would suit his taste.

He recalled how a child barely strong enough to hold his hammer cheerfully and happily presented him with a simple short sword with his bloodied, bruised, and broken hand.

But now he is back with more vigor and newfound determination than he once had.

Even with his battered body almost crawling back into his place, he thought that it was stupid for him to prioritize his hygiene rather than seek to cure himself.

Goibniu tried to claim back his child but to his surprise, the child overcome what is known as the impossible. Redeeming back his soul.

"Teacher"

The young man's raspy voice evident of abuse speak out almost inaudible with how weak it is.

He bowed deeply, asking for forgiveness, touching his head on the cold dirty floor of the smithy.

The god knows how much the young man hates to dirty himself. He remembered how clean and organized the man's working station is, contrary to their work.

But he continued hammering for a few minutes, he's a god of forge for a reason.

Checking the weapon for any problem he dipped it in a cold bucket of water, filling the surrounding with hot vapor, after ensuring the weapon's quality he walked toward the child's side.

He is their god, but they only called him their teacher and father, because he treats them as one.

He looks at the child's back, how it's trembling in suffering and pain begging for rest, but he still keeps a straight posture showing his pride, even at the young age of 15 he already lived for his word, his unbreakable ego, and perfection.

He saw the visage of the other god of forge in him, who he also silently respected.

The quality that only aims for perfection.

To reach the apex of what is deemed impossible

He urges the young man to stand up, hugged him tightly, and without a word welcomes him back.

'You have never been wrong child, because you never were.'

(Goibniu Familia)

Waking up after a few days of rest really helps me, I'm still at the Familia clinic after the doctor's advice for a few days of rest and I can't go against his order after our god's consent.

But I can't be lying on this bed after remembering all those orders that piled up after a month of my absence.

And there's something I remembered when I wake up. I seem to recall talking to someone who will give me a gift, something that I will really like.

In my past life where fiction is way better than reality, I have innumerable things that I want.

Became a Saiyan, obtaining Sharingan or even obliterating an enemy with just one punch

But it seems I have to wait before checking it out, as I notice my eccentric god entering the clinic. I know how busy he is with how obsessed he is with forging.

Our god only leaves the smithy and his shop either because of important business or special occasion, but I can guess his purpose coming in here.

"I'll be checking your Status," he said curtly after sitting beside my bed.

I only nodded and removed my shirt off, showing my back to him while waiting for my status update.

It's been a month since I leave the Familia after being drugged by those bastards.

But I don't really hate them because it's my fault in the first place for leaving my guard down.

However, crossing paths in the dungeon is a different stuff.

Many adventurers disappear in that place. A bunch of trash is nothing.

-----------

I can only stare in annoyance at this child's back.

I know how uptight he is about perfection, even a repair that only needs 2 days of work takes him a week.

That's why he barely had any customers, except for those who have enough money to donate it.

And I know that he don't have any talent, but at least he compensates it with hard-headed hard work.

Now this unique skill that seems very fitting for him appears.

I don't know what it means, but it seems he can only advance when he thinks that he already perfected everything or something.

A curse if any adventurer obtain this skill because normally they prefer leveling up rather than maximizing everything for a fast bigger reward.

But for him, it's just an icing in a cake, just thinking how long it takes for him to have another S in his status is already crazy.

Anyone would be satisfied if they obtained an A in their status, and it would already take them 3 years, but this kid wants to achieve an all S!

And Magen David must be a skill he received after overcoming his addiction over that bastard's wine, I don't know how useful it is, but it seems useful enough.

What a problematic child, but as his god, I can only support him.
