Thea Spontaneous close her eyes. She called Duncan's name again, like when she said a prayer. Someone jumped and rammed Thea backwards in the next split second, just as the cloud-shaped portal closed tightly.
Thea was hysterical as Duncan vomited blood in her chest. She rushed out of the way just as Esme approached.
Thea panicked. She stretched out her arms because she could not get rid of the tunic, now soaked with blood. Closing her eyes, Thea walked into the palace on instinct despite nearly crashing several times.
"Let me help," Sebastian's soprano voice rang in Thea's ear, which was then met with a nod, not resistance.
Sebastian felt sorry for Thea walking around shaking. He hurriedly led the girl in and ushered her to Marc just as Marc and Julien came out of the Throne Room together. He motioned for both of them to shut up until one of them brought the girl into the room to change.
