The ground shook violently. Moan after groan sounded more and more intense from within the split ground. Thousands of wisps of light gathered together as the ground shook again more than before.
Each side of the sphere of light gave off sparks of reddish light with a shimmering heat and pushed the two halves of the ground open wider every second. And whenever the earth was moved into an ever greater volume, several pairs of hands and heads emerged from within the large, clumping sphere of light.
When several heads smelled someone's body scent, they were thrown from the sphere of light and jumped across the two sides of the split ground while making a stance when they smelled a body scent that was so familiar to their sense of smell.
One of them shouted and pointed to the spot where a car, what they thought was a strange object, crossed the sidewalks.
