"Give me an answer, Bene. Not a question." said Artem.
Bene chuckled. "What kind of answer do you want from me, Artem?"
Artem shrugged.
After enjoying his drink, Artem sat back down while buttoning all the buttons of his blazer.
Artem didn't turn his face away from Bene one bit. He silently watched how the man across from him smiled as he recalled how he said all the sentences calmly but sounded so intimidating.
Instead of giving Artem an answer, Bene issued a statement.
"If you really knew me well, you would have known without me giving an answer. Even with the evidence you brought, you shouldn't have to question anything like that anymore. You can certainly deal with situations like this intelligently, even though I'm much smarter than you."
Bene ended his lengthy statement with a chuckle.
Artem shuddered at the sight of something unusual from the man he had known since being born into this world.
