*A/N: Reviews and comments are always welcome. I am pleased to see some people closely following this novel. Thanks for your support.*

Outside the dome.

"Done. Strip them and take their clothes. I made sure that no blood was spilt on the clothes." Ethan said, looking at the two dark-sun members floating in front of him. They were dead already.

"Oh sheesh! Thanks for the consideration. You could have knocked them out easily, so why were you so keen on killing them?" Alex asked in dismay.

"You were the one who ordered everyone to eradicate the black sun on sight. So, why are you nagging now?"

"Ah! Good point."

"You don't have to worry about them. I was discreet with space manipulation. No one would detect our presence." Ethan reaffirmed his stance.

"Anyway, I don't like killing. So, you take care of it."

"I am not your lackey," Ethan complained.

Alex and Ethan prepared for the upcoming battle.

What they were trying to do can be considered stupid in a sense. But, it was worth a try.

Although the novel had quite a bit of detail, the sequence of events happening now was completely different from the novel.

Theia was not rescued from the amusement park. Likewise, this was a horrific incident because of the fact that many life was lost in this incident. By interfering, Alex had already changed what was supposed to happen.

So, it was impossible for even Alex to determine what will happen from here on out.

Alex and Ethan stripped the Black-sun members before taking their clothes. The cloaks were white with a black sun symbol on the back. The material of the cloaks was different and unusual while the black masks were also special.

The mask was pitch black in colour and made out of ceramic or metal-like material. It was hard and durable. There were no contours or anything for their nose or anything. The mask fully covered the face from the front. While the high collar of the cloaks hid a significant portion of their head.

It was a peculiar choice of dress.

'Damn these people, they have great fashion sense.' Thought Alex while putting it on.

As soon as they were ready. They walked towards the front gate of the dome.

Both Alex and Ethan knew that getting in would be a hit or miss. So, one by one, they walked towards the dome.

Alex was following behind Ethan at a significant distance from one another.

The plan was initiated.

—-----

Although Cyrus and Edward were killing mana beasts and deformed demons left and right. They couldn't save everyone.

They could see the corpses of people littering the streets. These few people were just unlucky. Some people were crushed by collapsing buildings while others died from the attack of ferocious mana beasts or deformed demons.

Only if they were faster, they wished. Cyrus and Edward were angered to the point of no return. And the anger was directed toward the orchestrator of this terror attack.

Cyrus, who was searching for the black-sun members, was disappointed to see none. So, after ensuring that all the dangerous mana beasts and demons were killed. He summoned his fire elemental.

After leaving the fire elemental which was twenty feet in height near the central stadium to defend. He jumped up like a rocket and flew towards where Alex and Ethan went. He knew something was up.

—---------

Just as Alex and Ethan were ready to get into the dome. They saw a comet flying high in the sky. And it was coming straight for them.

"Father in law?" Ethan said in astonishment. This was the second time he was seeing that skill. And the painful memory from the first time seems to have left a scar in his psyche.

"That's a real falling star, right?" Said Alex who remembered calling his own skill falling star a couple of days ago.

"How did he sense us? Did you call him here?" Alex asked Ethan.

"No, but I made sure to send him the details. He will help us deal with some bugs." The moment Ethan said that the world seemed to have glowed bright red. A fiery comet-like human was already near them.

"Well thanks!" Alex said with a hint of worry.

Although Alex played the good and decisive leader now. He had his own agenda.

'Saving the kids was good and all. But this method might get everyone killed.' Alex thought in fear.

He had enough reason for not explaining the details too. It was unexpected that Ethan would pull a move like this.

So, without a delay. Alex ran away from the glowing comet. And the next second a large shockwave shook the earth. It was Cyrus landing near the dome.

The heat from his fire could be felt hundreds of metres away. He was melting the pavement all around him, standing tall and proud. At that moment, he didn't look like a man in his fifties. Instead, he was synonymous with dignity and power.

He was everything that others wished to be. An S ranked superhuman.

While Ethan and Alex moved away from Cyrus. The other Black-sun members began appearing from all around them. Trying to surround Cyrus.

And the chaos was the right time for Alex to infiltrate the dome. He slowly disappeared from the eyes of people while blending with the crowd.

—----

"Sir, an S ranked superhuman was sighted just now. He is right outside the dome." A panicked Black-sun member said to his commander.

Yet, no change could be seen in the commander. He looked nonchalantly at his subordinate and ordered.

"It was fast. I will take him down and use him as an offering to our god. Prepare the teleportation array fast."

"Yes, sir." Life seems to return to the subordinate hearing that.

—-------

In the meantime. Alex had already infiltrated the dome. Inside it was a group of people, young and old.

For the Black sun, they only needed the kids. So, the older ones were just captured as hostages. They might dispose of them any second now.

Alex swiftly walked towards the group. There, he could see Leo, Aurora and Theia. They were in a horrible condition. Like everyone else, they were restrained by huge metal chains. Even the small body of Theia was restrained by the same huge metal chain.

'Crazy *******…' Alex thought. 'Did that four-year-old look that dangerous to you.' Alex wanted to scream that at the black-sun member who was holding the chains.

Even then, Leo was calmly looking around like this was a walk in the park. While Aurora tightly hugged Theia in her arms, pacifying her. It was impossible not to notice the tear stains around Theia's eyes.

Looking at that, Alex felt his blood boil. But, when he turned to the side, he saw Ethan. Not a single word was exchanged between the two. Yet they knew exactly what each other was thinking.

"Let's do it."

"Okay!" Alex agreed with Ethan this time.

Things did not deteriorate to an unsalvageable situation yet. So, Alex didn't bother controlling Ethan. The thing he thought might happen hadn't happened yet.

The children were safe and it is all that he cares about.

Alex quickly moved toward the black-sun member who was holding the chain. He nodded politely and asked.

"The captain wishes to see you. You should relinquish your duties here. I will be taking over."

"Oh! You are a junior member, right? You were taught well. Be this respectable to everyone in our organisation." Alex was commended for his servile attitude while the black-sun mob member gave the chain to Alex.

"Good luck!" He wished good luck to Alex.

"Thank you, senior," Alex replied, nodding his head.

'Oh! This is why you need a basic IQ test before hiring people. If not, dumbasses like that would ruin a secret organisation. Black-sun, you could do better right?' Alex thought in his mind.

After taking hold of the chain. He slowly moved towards Leo.

"Leo, it's me. How many did you mark?" Alex whispered to Leo.

"Don't act mute now. How many were marked? I will buy you syndicate chicken. One family bucket, no two full family-sized buckets." Alex said.

Leo was thrilled to hear that. He never questioned his safety from the moment he was kidnapped. He knew he had dependable people looking after him. And once again, Alex proved himself to be a good guy. This reaffirmed his initial assumption about Alex.

Besides that, Syndicate Chickens were delicious.

"Forty! I embroidered their black-sun logos. Can seriously damage them or kill them." Leo said with an evil villainous laugh.

While Leo and Alex conversed. Aurora noticed it too. She was panicking seeing Leo smile toward an unknown person. She wanted to take him far away from the creepy kidnapper.

"Count to thirty and blast them," Alex said to Leo while making eye contact with Ethan who was nearby.

Holding the chain, Alex walked towards the chained Aurora and Theia.

Seeing the creepy kidnapper coming toward her. Aurora freaked out. If she was alone, she could have done something. But, now she had to protect Leo and Theia. Her brain froze up thinking too much.

The creepy kidnapper suddenly took a handkerchief from his pocket. Calmly he walked toward her.

"Oh! If it isn't our little Theia. Let's play a game now. Whoever opens their eyes first loses." Alex said while slowly removing his mask.

The crying Theia and Aurora were shocked to see Alex. At the same time, for some reason. They were relieved too.

Alex took a handkerchief and slowly wrapped it around Theia's head, covering her eyes perfectly.

"Are you up for a game Theia?" Alex said.

"Uh-hmm…" Theia nodded.

At the same time, Alex turned to look at Leo.

"Snap." Leo snapped his fingers the next second. All the while confused Aurora stood still.
