"JONATHAN!" Angela said in a panic as she freed herself out from under Jonathan's body that had fallen onto the ground. She thought he may have had a stroke or some sort of heart attack after everything that he had been doing but much to her surprise when she looked at his face she realized that he was only asleep.
Her face morphed from one of concern to one of complete annoyance, "YOU FELL ASLEEP WHILE STANDING?!" She shouted as she began poking his cheek over and over releasing her rage through this method.
While she may have seemed truly annoyed on the outside on the inside she was feeling quite happy that Jonathan had come back to save her and she wasn't really that angry that he fell over since she knew and saw how hard he had been working. If she could compare it to the others then she would say he equaled about 5 people all in one person.
"Truly impressive." Angela muttered to herself with a smile glad that her friend was so strong and reliable. Angela continued to poke his sleeping face for a few minutes until Jonathan finally roused from his sleep with a confused look on his face.
"Huh... where am I?" Jonathan said as his eyes slowly began fluttering open. Once he was finally able to open his eyes he came face to face with Angela who had a blank face as she continued poking his cheek making a red mark now appear on his face.
"What are you doing?" Jonathan asked Angela as she continued poking him not reacting in the slightest that she was bothering him while he was sleeping but one thing he was still unsure about is what was happening.
"Look over there." Angela said finally releasing her finger and pointing toward the entrance of the tunnel.
Jonathan lazily sat up wondering why he was laying on the floor before going wide-eyed when he saw that just outside of where they were hundreds of bulls were rushing in a frenzy down a street, "WHAT THE-!" Jonathan shouted shooting up from the ground in surprise.
Once he finally woke up he remembered what had happened throughout the entire second game and how he had ended up here with Angela before passing out, "It seems I was a little more tired than I thought." Jonathan said laughing while glancing at Angela.
Angela just facepalmed before replying, "A little tired?! YOU PASSED OUT WITH ME STILL ON YOUR BACK JERK!" Angela said bursting in anger all of the sudden before punching Jonathan in the ribs over and over again.
Jonathan became scared at first but once the first punch connected he began laughing inwardly. The little girl may have a fearsome expression but she lacked any kind of power that backed her ferocious look. It became less ferocious and cuter if anything.
"Whatever you say, let's keep going." Jonathan said chuckling before dodging another punch and continuing to walk down the path that had opened up for them. Angela just made a grunting sound in anger toward Jonathan before following beside him. Both of them walked for a few minutes down the path before getting to their first turn which went to the right, this direction also happened to be toward the finish line.
When Jonathan and Angela looked around the corner they both almost jumped back in surprise when they saw that the path in front of them was moving! The hallway at the turn went farther than Jonathan could even see but one thing for certain was the fact that the floor was moving a lot faster than Jonathan could ever hope to run.
The floor on the turn had changed from a concrete color to a dark black almost matt texture. It was similar to a treadmill or an elevator that was flat. The floor was rotating in the direction of the finish line and Jonathan had a smile on his face when he realized he wouldn't have to run or walk anymore.
"I think we should get on this thing." Jonathan said suddenly as the two were watching the path rotating at a high speed. Angela quickly looked up at him with her jaw slightly dropped thinking he was beyond crazy for even suggesting the idea.
"That's way too fast! We might die! We don't even know what's at the end of that thing!" Angela shouted showing her concerns about the situation. Jonathan only smirked at her answer which caused her to punch him in the rib once more but he still replied to what she said.
"Oh really? In case you forgot we're still on a time limit during this game and I don't know about you but it doesn't look simple getting back onto the street." Jonathan said laughing while pointing back toward the main street where bulls were running with all their energy like a never-ending tsunami.
Angela had a complicated look on her face when she looked at the raging bulls but before long she made a tsk sound turning back toward the moving floor, "I guess if we absolutely have to then we can go this way." Angela said with sweat going down her back slightly as she thought about trying to get out while the bulls were still there.
Jonathan only laughed at this and was enjoying the new Angela that seemed to be more open with him. Now that they knew what they were doing Jonathan got himself ready within his mind before turning toward Angela, "Are you ready for this?" He questioned curiously but Angela quickly turned giving him a thumbs up showing that she was prepared.
"Alright, we're both going to step on it on the count of three. One..two..three!" Jonathan shouted before throwing himself onto the moving floor accompanied by Angela. Both of them landed on the floor with no problem but keeping their balance was another issue. Within 2 seconds both of them had fallen over losing their balance and were at the mercy of the moving floor.
