"The way we will do it is quite simple. We'll have a race and the first two to arrive at the force field will get the access to the cabin. Does this sound fair?" Jonathan asked the crowd a question once more and after they collectively thought about it for a moment more than 90% of the people were in agreement on the idea which was fine with Jonathan.
After that everyone that wanted to participate lined up at the other side of the room where the door to the first game was and on Jonathan's mark they began running, "3...2...1... Go!" Jonathan shouted making the entire crowd of people begin rushing with everything that they had.
Some of the older people and those that weren't that serious about the cabin had stepped to the side and watched in awe as so many people put all they had into running toward the force field but of course there were only two winners and they were found within a few moments.
"Phew...hah...hah...hah." The man that finished first stood in front of Jonathan panting hard as they fought to catch their breath. It had been a very close race and most of the people had been within 2 seconds of each other but the man in front of Jonathan rose above the rest.
The man seemed to be in his later 20s with a lean and muscular build. He had clean black hair that was in the form of a bowl on his head. Nothing else was very mentionable about him but one that did draw attention was the person that came in second place.
It was another man in his late teens perhaps even early 20s and he had bright yellow hair that was long enough to go down to his waist. It was quite bizarre looking but Jonathan wasn't one to judge. The man had a lean and muscular build as well but he was slightly slower than the first place guy.
While the person in first place was the obvious winner the person in second had been very close to another individual and it caused a ruckus instantly which was slightly part of Jonathan's plan.
"Hey man I made it here before you! Your hair gave you an advantage!" One guy that had been milliseconds behind the yellow-haired individual shouted at the man in anger.
However, much to Jonathan's surprise instead of continuing the argument with the angered person the yellow-haired individual walked past them and walked straight toward Jonathan before saying in a monotone voice, "Sam."
Jonathan's mind went blank for a moment but he then realized what Sam had meant by telling him his name, "I allow Sam to enter." Jonathan said out loud and soon after Sam began entering the force field. However, as Sam was entering the guy that had been ignored tried to grab his shoulder to pull him back but ended up touching his hand on the force field which suddenly made him shoot off into the distance.
"AGHHH!" The person shouted in agony as they landed on their back with a thud in the distance. Anger and embarrassment were all over their face as many laughed at the man and others were stifling their giggles in case the man turned their anger on them.
"YOU WILL PAY FOR THAT!" The guy shouted before walking off in the distance with a scowl.
Jonathan glanced at Sam but he still had no reaction on his face. He just stood there waiting patiently beside Jonathan and the rest as they waited for the last person to cross the barrier to the other side.
After a minute of waiting the guy finally caught his breath and looked up toward Jonathan saying, "My name is Tom."
Jonathan wasted no time since all of the people that lost the challenge had ugly looks on their faces and hate directed toward both Tom and Sam. Jonathan hated that they had such attention aimed at them but to him it was better than it being directed at himself.
"I allow Tom." Jonathan said out loud letting Tom finally walk inside completing the maximum amount of people that could be allowed in the cabin area at one time.

Outside of the resting room there was a conversation going on between The Watcher and another person with a cat mask.
"You have done well Watcher. For that here's your payment." The person with the cat mask said before handing The Watcher a bag that was filled with currency.
When The Watcher opened the bag and saw all the currency they smiled under their mask, "Tell your boss that I won't be able to do something like that again soon. I was on the edge of losing my position because of what I just pulled. If the contestants caused a riot this early on then I would have gotten in trouble especially since I wasn't supposed to say the rules of the cabin to anyone besides the cabin owner." The Watcher said chuckling in amusement but also with a hint of nervousness.
"Will do. Thanks again, I will be leaving now." The other cat mask person said before leaving The Watcher's room.
When they left The Watcher turned to a monitor in front of them that showed the feed of everything happening inside the game room and below the monitor laid the tablet that The Watcher had been using the entire time to control most of what was happening inside the game. On the tablet screen currently, there were three buttons that each had a specific function connected to the force field.
One of the buttons made it where someone could pass through, another armed the field where no one could enter, and the final one was the button used to send someone flying when they touched the force field when they weren't allowed in. All of this could have been automated but The Watcher found enjoyment in being able to control the lives and what happens with all the people in the game.
