"Irene needs to choose." The female one giggled."Kill him or kill her." The voice continued.
"No!" Irene yelled, breaking her silent streak. Mr. Barker was shocked by the sudden scream of her.
"W-what?" He flustered, and stammered asking her.
Irene realised that she screamed in a strange situation. She bit her lower lips, trying to answer her father. The voices were making her go crazy.
"Hehe. Irene made a fool of herself." The male voice chuckled, teasing her.
"Are you going crazy?" Mr. Barker queried, fearing how insane she was acting.
Irene went quiet and ran out of the house, without explaining anything even with Mr. Barker yelled from behind.
Irene sprinted as fast as her legs could take, ignoring every voice that landed on her ears. Why was everyone suddenly getting on her nerves?
Irene only stopped when she reached the river, the tranquil surrounding finally calmed her down abit. No more voices, just the river water flowing in its pace.
