August walked a few stops only to stop on his tracks to find Azrael sitting by the stairs whimpering in pain.
"Azrael…" August called out, trying to grasp onto her.
"Don't come near me!" Azrael yelled, putting a barrier between the two.
"Stay as far as you can." Azrael continued, slowly getting up with staggered steps and trying to better a larger distance between them.
"As if I f**king care!" August tried to close the distance between the two.
Azrael gathered all her energy and ran up the stairs, with a barrier preventing him from going close to her. August tried to talk it out but Azrael just closed the door of her room and locked it.
Conscience. Losing one's conscience was the most excruciating pain. Being cadger only has only intention, killing others no matter who they are. Killing and sucking their energy till they are nothing was the main reasoning of Cadgers.
"Azrael, let's talk it out." August tried to call her out of the room.
