Val winced in pain and tried to get up from the ground, one of her arms being pierced with one of the sharp branches. Oliver lay beside her unconscious. He was way more injured than her, taking most of the trauma when they pierced through all those hundred-year-old trees.
"Oliver…" Val stammered, her arms giving up an excruciating pain. She tried to get Oliver conscious but it seemed to not even work a bit.
