August focused on cleaning, trying to not think much about it. It doesn't matter anymore.
"I know what you're thinking. But you didn't notice the bandage around the right arm." Edgar interrupted, seeing August trying to get an answer.
August was puzzled for a second," What do you mean?"
"Her right arm. It was covered with bandages. Azrael has a bad habit of harming herself when she feels guilty, a way of redemption." Edgar clarified.
"Why did she kill them in the first place? I don't wish to judge someone as my hands are tainted with blood just like hers but not of innocent ones. I saw those kids wailing near their parents' carcasses, not understanding a bit why?" August gritted his teeth feeling helpless, those cries still ringing in his ear.
"That you have to ask her. I believe my daughter didn't do anything out of spite. Judging before knowing the full story is a bad thing, August." Edgar patted his back, going back to cleaning.
