August woke up, hearing his name being called repeatedly and saw Azrael looking at him with concern.
Azrael sighed in relief, noticing his move. She instinctively pulled him into her arms, hugging him tightly.
"You scared me!" Azrael yelled, hugging him tighter than ever. "I should have not brought you here. Let's go back." Azrael whispered with a guilty conscience at his state.
She should have been aware of what kind of life he led before he came to that decision. How foolish of her to think that just because he joked and smiled, the wounds left by time healed. She should have known better with the time that those wounds hurt more than anything.
"Azrael…" August felt a bit guilty for losing his calmness just like that. He didn't think just watching the stalk would send him back in time like that.
"Let's go back." Azrael teleported them back to Niflheim, not wasting a second with it. Not for a second, she let go of his arm. She held onto it tighter than ever.
