Azrael peeked up at him, her heart couldn't help but flutter, this was bad. This curse was worse than being burnt alive. This was way dangerous to her. She can't let him get close. It seems like the curse only turns on when he gets close or does stuff like that.
"I can get up by myself." Azrael declared, averting her head in different directions, getting up herself, and walking away.
August was confused by her mood changes. He was trying to just help, why was she getting so hyped? There was no place for good deeds.
"Wait for me. Don't go alone, it's dangerous." August ran behind her to catch up with her, as she was already out of his sight when he was busy thinking.
August walked out of the street taking a right turn. He halted immediately, eyes widened in shock.
She was enclosed in a transparent column, shaped like a star.
"Azrael!" August called out, about to rush to her side.
