"Valerie. How about you go meet your Yolk?" Azrael forced out a smile trying to act calm.
Valerie stopped her fantasies and thought for a moment, "Right. Goodbye, sis." Valerie dashed out, like an excited kid. Azrael looked at how innocent and excited her little sister was. Azrael gulped down on more drink thinking how similar Valerie and past her looked.
Thousand years back …
"Looks like her wounds are all healed." The imperial practitioner observed Meredith's injury, especially her hands.
"Will It leave any scar?" Helena stood beside the bed, her face concerned.
"No, your highness." The doctor responded, gave a bow and walked away.
Once they were alone again, Helena sat down beside her bed. Meredith smiled, it's been more than a month since she has come here. She has not seen Henry after the incident, it's only Helena who visits her and treats her like her own daughter. Everything was better except her aunt was nowhere there.
